During the pandemic semesters of 2020/21, when the usual daily discussions in the corridors of our university had largely disappeared, the need for exchange became more important than ever. While we were working on our master’s thesis projects, there was no common studio culture through which ideas, doubts, and inspirations could be shared.

To create a space for dialogue, I initiated a weekly online discussion format, where each session revolved around a self-curated topic related to architecture, design, working methods, or future visions of the profession.

Every session began with an “Inspiration of the Week” — an image, observation, discovery, or project that participants wanted to share with the group. In a time of isolation, this ritual became an important source of external input, personal exchange, and collective reflection.

To frame the discussions, I designed a series of posters for each topic and initiated a shared diary of the thoughts, conversations, and projects of all participants — a collective record of a unique moment of learning, exchange, and mutual support.
