Shine on me
exhibition design 2018
freelance at Raumlabor Berlin
location: Deutsches Hygiene Museum, Dresden
In the end of Summer 2018 the Nasa was starting an historical mission: They want to “touch“ the sun.. At the same time the “Deutsche Hygiene Museum Dresden“ wants to start a sistermission to the sun, requestioning scientific and mystery facts about the sun. The exibiton is organised in seven orbits – seven perspectives on the sun: The sun as divinity, timer, symbol, communcation, health, energy and star.
Together with the curators of the D.H.M. we developed a special scenography for the seven chapters. Our inspiration were the space travel styles from the sixties with it´s iconographic forms and materials, combined with the image of space trash.
As a result we designed flexible interactive and individual exhibitionobjects in different sizes. A special feature of the exhibition design were the extra researchstations for children. They are included in every chapter and designed in a smaler size for smaler visitors.
