Fever Dreams
Curation and Exhibition Design 2024
Collaboration: Victoria Jung
Location: Dortmunder U
This exhibition continued the spatial concept originally developed for Victoria Jung’s photographic series Fever Dreams. The modular exhibition toolkit—consisting of collected flying papers, blue tarpaulins, timber structures, and temporary display elements—was reconfigured for a completely new venue, demonstrating its adaptability to different spatial contexts.
In contrast to the first exhibition, the smaller and more intimate setting allowed individual works to be staged with greater specificity. Rather than presenting a large number of photographs, selected pieces were given distinct spatial interventions. For one photograph depicting locusts, a torn paper wall partially concealed the image, inviting visitors to gradually, like the locusts themselves, “make their way through” the surface to discover the work behind it.

The "Flying Papers" from the first exhibition coninued their journey
