This catalogue serves as an annual review of the 28 exhibitions presented at Verena Kerfin Gallery in 2021.

Known for its highly dynamic exhibition programme, the gallery presents a wide range of artistic positions, media, and exhibition formats.

The catalogue aims to capture the exhibitions as spatial experiences. Its design recreates the logic of the exhibition space itself, allowing readers to revisit not only the artworks but also the way they were presented and experienced.

Organized chronologically, each exhibition opens with a large-format installation view that immerses the reader in the gallery space. Selected artworks are then presented in a deliberately minimalist layout, accompanied by concise texts. Together, these elements create a catalogue that functions almost like a sequence of all 28 exhibition spaces brought together in a single volume.

Through its clarity, restraint, and timeless design, the catalogue structure continues to be used for the gallery’s annual reviews today.
